About Daniel
Hello there. My name is Daniel. Curiosity is the spice of life; especially when it involves food and fun packed adventures. It's best not to take yourself serious all of the time. I am a man who loves to read under the shade, and likes to get lost in art galleries.
I moved into downtown Detroit back in October, 2011. Meeting new people is very difficult with my schedule, but I am always open to meeting new peeps. I am goal oriented and have the drive for success. I work, go to school, physically train, volunteer, and belong to a few organizations. It's hard to find someone when you are always on the go. I am looking for someone who is independent, has their own goals, has 'some' of the same interests as I do, and has an open mind!
I love living in Michigan although I do love to travel. Just the weather alone can teach you humility in accepting the good with the bad. I love camping and being outdoors during the summer. Going to apple orchards during the fall. Sledding in the winter, and enjoying the perfect Spring weather on one of the Great Lakes. Hiking and running are two of my MANY passions. I do about 6 to 10 races a year ranging from 5k's to 26.2 mile marathon's. Most people get intimidated when they see that I am a avid runner. I am not looking for someone to be a runner as well, but someone who can understand that I need to take a few hours out of the week to train. In addition, I don't drink much. I quit to become more physically active... I love going to wineries, and microbreweries, and I love being around a good time :)
I am green and environmentally friendly. I love art, botany, history, horticulture, music, and politics are my favorite things to do or study. I've found Romanticism and Surrealism to be the most favorite art forms. Both are movements chock full of prominent cultural figures. People like Gandhi and Marcus Auraliaus intrigue me. I prefer to pursue in my art and music. Contributing to culture is very important to me. Hope to hear from you ;)
