About Me
I proofread this twice to make sure I didn't anything out. Country boy living in town. I have a dry sense of humor. As one friend of mine put it, sarcasm 'oozes' out of me. I like outdoor stuff such as water and snow skiing, college football, home improvement projects. I like simple things. Not into the bar scene but I like to listen to a live band in smoky bar occasionally. I answered the drinking question 'no' but I don't mind having a beer once in a great while (usually at the lake). I no longer consider myself a social drinker since I do it so seldom. I listen to classic rock and classic country music. I'm sort of an 80's throwback. 80's music and 80's movies. Not trying to live in the past but that was my early adulthood years and I like to reminisce. I love thunderstorms and just a good old summer rain. I'm an early riser and I love to water ski at sunrise. I spend a lot of time outdoors whether it's a humid day in July or a frigid day in February. Sometimes I stick my head out the window and look toward the sky and smile for the satellite photo. I'm currently enjoying the freedom and headaches of being self employed. I can draw a circle on an Etch-a-Sketch. Now for my faults: Once I tore the tag off a mattress, I used to be addicted to placebos, and I return DVD's to the video store without rewinding them. I don't do drama. If you are still fighting with an ex over money or custody or any of that stuff, we probably won't hit it off. And if you still have ties to an old boyfriend and think it's OK to continue seeing him, don't bother contacting me. If you're in your late 40's but try to act like a 20 yr old, that's great. Just not for me. If you state in your profile that you're looking for someone 'witty', perhaps you should be witty yourself. Nearly everyone I've met thinks I look exactly like my pics. I'm happy where I am in life but I'd like to meet someone who is compatible. Chivalry is not dead. I'm old fashioned and treat women with respect, open doors, etc.
