A little about me:
I recently graduated from Indiana University . I have a BA in Political Science and a Masters in mental health counseling. I work as a domestic violence and substance use counselor, locally. Eventually, I would like to get into private practice. I am at the point in my life where I would like to find someone as a partner and a companion for long term. I've learned a lot about myself as a person and what I value in a relationahip with a partner and would like to find someone that wants something serious as well. I am a great listener and am empathetic and understanding (hence the therapist passion) I would like to find someone who is compatible with the qualities I hold.
I enjoy traveling (although have not jad too many opportunities), I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I enjoy concerts, drives, bball games, bowling, movies, comedy clubs, but also enjoy relaxing nights at home as well.
What I am looking for:
I am looking for someone who ultimatley would like a long term serious relationship, someone who can make me laugh but also knows how to be serious when those times arise. Someone who is stable (emotionally, financially,etc.). Someone who has a good head on his shoulders, is motivated, but also playful. Someone who is loyal, not afraid of commitment, and can communicate! Although it is not a deal breaker, I prefer someone with a college education. (This does not mean I think those with college degrees are better than those without, however in my experience, I have found that I am more compatible on an intellectual and world view perspective.) I am not looking for someone who has small kids (I do not want children of my own, so I definitely do not want yours) or multiple divorces in their past. Although I am not looking to jump into something overnight I am not looking for friends with benefits, hook ups, no strings attached sort of things, if that is what you want, I am not for you, do not bother wasting our time. I spent a solid amount of time on my profile describing what im looking for/not looking for, etc. So if you are one to not have spent much time on yours or simply write a "hey", etc. Chances are I will not indulge copious amounts of time, if any, into conversation. Bonus points if you have dark hair and tattoos ;)
