I am looking to meet a normal guy. It seems that "normal" is a bit hard to come by these days. Race is not important to me but I have had the question posed if race is an issue? (in this day and time I didn't think that was still an issue)

I own my own home and I have a career which I enjoy. I guess one could say I'm living the American dream but it doesn't feel like it to me. Being independent has also been lonely. I have to do all the things I don't like doing. I hate taking out the trash, putting the garbage cans out on trash day. Getting outrageous quotes because I'm a woman. I would like a man to be able to do the talking for me, order for me, simple things.
