I am at that time of life when I am seeking quality of life rather than quantity.
I want to try things which I haven't had time to try before - there's a million different things to do and all it needs is someone special to suggest them and share.
I look forward to doing new things and making new memories with someone who makes me feel as special as I can make them.
Sharing - whether it be a cup of tea, a glass of wine, a walk in the country or something completely different that is what I am looking for - something special.
I can enjoy an evening in watching TV just as much as a meal out with friends - I believe that it's not what you do , it's who you do it with that's important.

I enjoy helping friends out, be it fixing cars,lawn mowers,strimmers,plumbing or making things work like computers.
I like to be busy but I also like quiet times strolling down the beach,sharing a glass or just chilling out reading a book or watching TV. I am quiet not loud.
I am tactile and loving with a wicked sense of humour.
My favourite commedians are Tony Hancock, Peter Sellers, John Cleese as well as Peter Kay, Johnny Vegas and Jethro. I like intelligent and observational humour.
My musical tastes are varied from pop to rock to classical.
I am a one-off - extremely reliable and faithful,supportive and caring and I even do ironing.

First Date
Oh for such a special occasion ... Hm .. Tea and a bun, meet for a drink or share a stroll is my idea of an ideal first date.

 | Just like to say what a nice guy GordenTG is. I met him for coffee when I first joined POF. Although I didn't think he was the man for me I did meet him again and we spent a lovely afternoon together on the beach. If anyone is considering whether or not to take the plunge I'd say go for it. He's a gent of the highest calibre. |
