My worst trait is that I have a weird thing about voices. I have an aversion to thick southern accents (I know - shallow and not productive when living in VA). So, if you pride yourself on being a good ol' country boy, I'm probably not going to write you back. I'm sorry. It's my own awful quirk and nothing personal. It's just a reality I've come to terms with. Another reality: I do have a teenage son who has to be toted places so if you are looking for a Beck and Call girl, I'm not your woman. I love kids though, of all ages, so the good side is I'm incredibly understanding to fellow parents with tight schedules.

Talk, get to know someone a bit over coffee or a drink perhaps. I hate first dates. They are just something to be suffered through, to be honest. The best dates are the later ones...you both have a great time, and get to be more yourselves.
I like to laugh, have fun, and hear people's stories. I love comedy clubs, comedy shows, talking about good books. I used to put politics on this list of things I like to talk about, but I'm finding that the current atmosphere of nasty mudslinging rhetoric is disheartening to me, angers me and it's better if I don't talk politics until the election is over. The entire country scares the crap out of me right now anyway.
