About Me
I grew up with Gomez Addams as my role model. I am looking for my Morticia to accompany me on adventures like winery and brewery tours, concerts, races, culinary quests and whatever other mischief comes along. I am eccentric, eclectic and have a few other tics and expect you to have some tics of your own.
I like a broad range of music including (but not limited to) Elvis Costello, The Ramones, Little Feat, The Doobie Brothers, Tom Petty, Lyle Lovett, Joe Ely, Dave Alvin, Warren Zevon, Metallica, Duke Ellington (you get the idea) and read authors like Christopher Moore, Carl Hiaasen, Elmore Leonard, John Steinbeck, Raymond Carver, etc.
I am an accomplished chef and wine, beer and mixed drink (cocktail) expert and love to entertain friends at home. I also enjoy dining out and as a former restaurant and entertainment columnist I still try to keep up with culinary and music trends.
I am now experiencing empty nest syndrome as my only child left for Northern Arizona University and I have just moved back from Los Angeles. I will miss her dearly but it will give me the opportunity to spend more time improving myself and finding someone to share in the many things I am passionate about.
