My goals are to live like no one else so that later I can live like no one else. That's a quote from TV and Radio personality, Dave Ramsey. Another goal of mine is to stay in the best of health so that I can always go and do as I wish. At this time, my newly inherited dog and I are walking 20 minutes a day. I can't say that I look forward to our little walks, but I know that it is good for me. Emergency update: dog died, but I still walk without the little guy. Without dog my little walks became boring....decided to buy a gym membership for the umpteen time, but I do like this gym and have been there about a year or so.... Now I have inherited a cat---Purple Skidey Kitty (can't really walk cats)--not sure how I feel about the little guy or how he feels about me, but we make do with each other's idiosyncrasies. Occasional golfing is fun (update:no more golf/ I am just not that good.). I like working in the yard if it doesn't involve actually cutting the grass. My sweet grandchildren are a blessing to me.....Did I really say sweet? Humm....not always... My lifetime obsession has been with water--looking at water and being on the water. It can have such a calming effect on the soul until the boat decides to quit running, etc. In the spring and fall I have an old convertible that I like to take everywhere. The sounds of nature are just so much easier to distinguish with the top down. I like to see and hear all of the things that God wanted for us to enjoy. Laughter is a necessity in this day and time. I like to laugh at many of the crazy situations that I seem to get myself involved. And, I like to have fun even while doing the mundane. Work is one of the evil mundanes, but then again what would I do all day long without all that stress.
First dates can be so treacherous. This is when you might say just a little something as a "funny" that does not tend to be funny to the other person because of different lifetime experiences. Oh well, people ought not to take life so serious. I like to just relax somewhere so that talking flows naturally. That might be at a coffee shop, bistro, etc. Once the awkwardness is over then we might can leave and go to a more agreed upon location.
