About Me
I have never ending stories to tell as my life has been one big adventure. For a start, I've lived in several countries spread over 3 continents. I decided on another adventure four years ago and ended up in Scotland. Lesson learned: Do not give up sunshine and warmth for the lust of men in kilts. Hey, at least now I can drive a stick-shift with either hand (yep, I drive a manual). While we're showing off here, I am multilingual, too, aye!
I am very much a Nor Cal girl at heart: love the sunshine, big outdoors, ethnic foods and diversity. I rock climb both indoors and out, enjoy yoga and swimming, and I am a huge fan of the Arizona Wildcats. I am very passionate about my work with children with special needs, and I thrive on the challenges and creativity it entails. Family and friends are important to me, as is a lifelong of curiosity and learning.
For awhile, I had been perfecting my skills as a professional bum and globetrotter (sounds better than taking a career break, doesn't it?). Added to my resume are: swimming with turtles in the Celebes Sea and rock climbing in Yangshuo/Guilin.
Alas, those days are over. I recently accepted a temporary teaching position in the Old Pueblo (Tucson) but am counting down the days to prison break. While I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends, it would be great to find that partner in crime to share life's adventures with. Now accepting applications for human hot water bottle from highly qualified individuals.
