I am a a bit of dork, lets get that out the way. I enjoy Adult Swim, my Wii, and RPGs. It's simply part of who I am. I am also a man who needs to get out and into the world, between my work and getting into schooling again, not to mention the realities of life post marriage something was lost. I'd like to figure that out and make light of a my life- enjoy time and good people.
I am in the process of continuing into a bachelor's program and starting a new job, getting my weight down, and trying to prove that learning to swim again does not require floaties.
Humor is important to me: I am an odd sort, but have been known to elicit some smiles. I can be dark and macabre and can say things that will make DeSade blush.
I'm a music fanatic-faves include Metallica, The Birthday Massacre, Johnny Cash...and everything and anything in between.
Things that make me smile: Jack Daniels, Invader Zim, Big dumb dogs, good company, the ocean, bad horror films, anime, anything 80's.
I am a goofy "cuddly" person, which may very well be code for awkward and fat, but I disagree :P
I spent 8 years in the ARMY as a Patriot missile systems operator and maintainer, so I've had the opportunity to travel and see quite a bit. Now I am seeking friends and activities in a realm that even after 4 years, I still find awkward: the real world.
I tend to have my nose in a book, or be analyzing events around me even when I'm not involved.
