I'm gonna start this off with a joke I heard a while back by comedian Rich Vos, that I'm reminded of when I read some profiles, and that is sure to immediately turn off every woman who reads this. Good strategy, I know.
"I went on match.com to meet a girl on a website. I'm reading all their profiles. Everyone says they like hiking; they all like hiking. How come whenever I date a girl, I can't get her to go to the kitchen to get me a drink, but on a date she wants to cross the Northwest Passage?"
Now that we've got that out of the way...I was born and raised in northern VA, although I just recently moved back up here from Richmond to be closer to family. Random fact: I have an identical twin brother. It's pretty cool, although he's basically me, but Version 2.0. What an SOB.
As far as interests go: I'm really into sports, both pro and college. I attended VCU and was fortunate enough to attend the Final Four, this year's Notre Dame-Alabama national championship, and a ton of other amazing sporting events. But I absolutely love college basketball and football.
I also love to play basketball despite the fact that I suck now. But I'm typically up for playing almost anything, in particular golf. I completely believe the saying that your worst day on the golf course is still better than most days. Of course, beer helps.
But I do enjoy other various crap, such as going out and grabbing a drink and watching movies and TV (Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Dexter, Parenthood, and Game of Thrones are awesome). I also love comedy, and count Louis C.K., Aziz Ansari and Anthony Jeselnik among my favorite comedians.
Also, I actually started a book club recently with some friends and co-workers. It's really a glorified happy hour, but when I see a movie, the first thing I want to do is talk to someone about it, and it's really easy to find people who have seen the same movie as you. But books? No so much. So this club definitely serves that purpose for me.
Anyway, anything you wanna know, feel free to ask. If not, that's cool. I hate you anyway.
