About Me
I love music and recently joined a Community Concert Band. I am a percussionist and enjoy playing guitar and singing originals and 60s and 70s tunes (lots of Beatle songs). I also love the outdoors, so any day spent at the lake is a good day. When the opportunity arises I like to travel (It's amazing what you can find right here in Middle Tennessee.) and discover new and interesting restaurants and attractions. I enjoy meeting people and making new friends. I especially like get togethers where people can laugh, talk, and share a meal. My goals in life include becoming the best person I can be, and locating that special someone to share life with. I believe I have a lot to offer. I like to read and try to keep up with what's going on in the world. I can be very funny when I feel comfortable and am around the right people. I enjoy romance and the warmth of a close relationship. My politics are basically Middle of the Road with a lean to the left and I consider myself spiritual rather than religious. By the way, I like many styles of music and feel equally comfortable at the Symphony or listening to a Classic Rock concert. Let's not forget about the Blues, Big Band music, Jazz, and Country. First Date
I think that a first date needs to be simple so that a couple has an opportunity to sit and talk without distractions. A public place that is convenient and comfortable for both people is ideal. Perhaps a cup of coffee, a soft drink, or a light snack of some sort would be good. There is something about sharing food and drink that helps break down barriers and allows people to relax and be themselves. The first get together doesn't have to be long. Agreeing to meet for an hour or so gives you plenty of time to decide if you have further interest or the chance to make a polite departure if things don't feel right.
