About me.... I am funny, creative, giving, super outgoing, and dependable to a fault. I am originally from Chicago and although I have lived in LA for eighteen years I still have midwest values...some of which I learned in Kindergarden...Always look both ways and hold hands when crossing the street, and always say please and thank you.
My interests are vast and varied. I am fascinated by many cultures and as a result love all the art and food that goes with them. I would love to do some more traveling and look forward to someday hiking to the top of Machu Picchu. I like to go hiking, to museums, used bookstores, thrift stores, flea markets, art exhibits and cafes. And I love a good dive bar, and wish that I was a better dart player. Sushi is my favorite type of food, and I prefer wine or a martini over beer. And I will never say no to dark chocolate.
I work in the entertainment industry, but am going back to school to get a teaching degree so I can teach K-5. I love children, and think that my nieces are the greatest kids in the world.
I like all types of music, but have a soft spot for the eighties. I love a good thunderstorm, a wrap around porch, and a big yard filled with flowers. I prefer dogs over cats. ( big dogs, not purse dogs ).
I am very creative and make jewelry, purses, hats, scarves, ponchos, and a lot of my own clothes. And I can bake a killer chocolate cake. Halloween is my favorite holiday. And I read tons of books from historical fiction to biographies.
About you.......Smart, funny, giving, honest, trustworthy, looking for a relationship and not into games. Someone who can use the phone to TALK NOT JUST TEXT. (Texting is a great way to communicate if your only have a minute and you need to communicate something, but it is a lousy way to get to know people.)
