About Me
I'm originally from the midwest, and lived there most of my life. I'm pretty laid back and you won't get much drama with me. Most people say I have a great sense of humor, and I tend to laugh a lot. I like being around people who don't always take themselves too seriously. I also like to keep good, positive people in my life, so if your life is a mess or you're just generally a negative person most of the time, I'm not going to want to date you. I know we all have bad days, but hopefully you have more good days than bad!
I've ridden a 4-wheeler through the jungle, hiked up the side of a volcano to hear it "breathe", rode a horse as it swam in the ocean, and rappelled down a 400 foot waterfall. I love doing stuff like this! I would love to spend some of my time in the future traveling the world. There are so many beautiful things out there to see, and so many amazing experiences to be had. I'd like to meet someone who would enjoy the same.
While I like a little adventure in my life, I can also be perfectly happy staying in and ordering a pizza and watching some TV. It's nice to have some quiet nights at home, and just enjoy the simple things in life.
I've made a pretty good career for myself in the software industry. They gave me my own white board... WITH markers... so I'd say I'm doing PREEEETY good. :) I make plenty of money for myself, enough to live comfortably, so don't worry, I won't be needing any of your money to pay the bills. And you shouldn't need any of my money to pay your bills either. I'm looking to date a grown up who's on a good path. :-)

Yes, I am divorced, and no, I don't have any bad feelings about it, or carry any baggage from it. I ended the relationship and we both peacefully parted ways several years ago. Just thought I would throw that out there since I do get questions about it.

First Date
Ok, it says First Date (optional). I'm not sure if I'm supposed to:
- Describe my first date ever
- Describe my ideal first date
- Assume that people on this site consider the first date to be optional, and we can just skip ahead to hanging out in sweat pants on the couch and watching reality TV

However, if it means the second one, then I'd prefer to grab a couple of drinks or a coffee for the first meet-up... and then do something more elaborate and fun the next time.
