I was raised an Air Force brat. Born on base at Offutt in Omaha, moved to Minneapolis, then to Santa Monica where my father resigned his commission. Then to Cherry Hill, finally in my adolescent years we landed in Cleveland. If it weren't for the harsh winters, I'd still live there. I am a HUGE fan of THE Ohio State Buckeyes, not so much the Browns as of late and I have a love/hate relationship with the Steelers. Some would say that I'm a reformed "rabble-rouser", I have had my run ins with the law (all before college and nothing beyond a misdemeanor, anything you imagine a high strung, athletic teenager with too much time on his hands and a big imagination could get into). However, I have learned a lesson or two over the last few years and have found a more "gentle" way through life. I enjoy being creative, I particularly enjoy building webpages, modeling (with clay and PC), painting with watercolors, tooling leather, videogames, weightlifting, sports, MMA, football, camping, hiking, bicycling and for the last 4 years I have become quite a motorcycle enthusiast. I am also very interested in the renaissance. Don't let my picture fool you, I'm not a thug, nor do I have thuggish tendencies, both my parents were educators and I am very articulate. I have found that many women that contact me are looking for a "rapper" type personality. My demeanor is closer to, say... Vin Diesel... In truth, I have many interests and I enjoy learning new things, I am leaning towards digital photography as my next endeavor. I have aspirations of entrepreurialship. I listed recycling as one of my interests. I have always been interested in computers and I am a Microsoft certified technician. It is my desire to start and operate an e-waste recycling business. My way to help the planet. I'm not much of a treehugger, but I do understand that we only have one planet. What makes me unique... Everything about me seems unique in one way or another. I am 6'2, with a large frame, I played football and I wrestled in college, I worked part-time for many years as a bouncer in several nightclubs. I coached wrestling at the high school and junior college levels. I have a bachelor of arts degree, my major was interior design, I worked for over 10 years as a commercial design consultant. After leaving the design industry, I became a computer salesman, then a desktop publisher. I am a big black man that listens to classic rock and jazz and almost all of my friends are jewish, I love to cook and my favorite cuisine is italian. I have a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. I have even been called a "smart ass"... like that's a bad thing? Lastly, like most Capricorns, I am painfully honest. In other words, don't ask me a question unless you're sure you can handle the answer.
As I stated in my rather lengthy description, I enjoy the outdoors. For a 1st date, I'm thinking about visiting one of the state parks for a peaceful lunchtime picnic with a nice bottle of zinfandel and conversation. Then maybe a walk around the lake, marina.
