About Me
I am a spontaneous person. I like to do different things just because I haven’t done them before. I guess you can say that I believe in the saying ‘don’t knock it until you tried it’.
I am a dog person and have one that is 3 y/o. So if you are a dog person or have one yourself then that is a major plus.
I am mechanically inclined which means I can change a lightbulb, change oil in a car, rotate your tires, replace a light fixture, fix a washer/dryer and do many other chores that require tools. I actually enjoy doing those things and I am amazed at how many guys out there can’t. Guys who can’t should start wearing dresses. I can also cook too (worked as one during HS and through college…mainly Italian food).
This might sound crazy to some of you but I actually like talking to someone face to face….Im not going to sit behind a computer for two weeks chatting just to get to know you. If I think you would be a cool person to hang out with then Im going to want to hang out in person to get to know you. That to me is considered normal. Texting or emailing back and forth a million times for 3-4 weeks before you meet is just strange.
I am not the type of guy to date around by putting women on the back burner but at the same time stringing them along until I think I might need them. I think the people who do that are either immature or have self esteem issues. If you genuinely like someone, had a good time on a date, and they don’t have any red flags popping up in your head then why in the world would you also want to juggle person B, C, and D all at the same time??
If I like you then I will want to hang out with YOU.
I do stay in shape. I run on a treadmill 6-7 days a week and lift weights every other day. By no means am I a meathead or obsessed with working out. When the treadmill is in the basement it doesn’t take much to run 15 minutes every day….it takes some people that much time to eat bag of chips. I just choose to run instead. If you like to workout then that is a plus. However I am not expecting a fitness freak, just someone who at least cares about their body.
I also like to read up on current events. Im all over the map when it comes to what I read so it can be anything from why Rihanna got thug life tattooed on her knuckles to where the economy is heading in the future.
It would also be nice to meet someone who has a silly/goofy side at times but can also be serious. Someone who is open minded and likes trying new things. Someone who has a personality is a MUST! It is a shame when I hear girls who talk “you know, like I just want to be young forever, tee-hee, like, you know, like, OMG! I just got a f/b wall post, like, ok, isn’t her shirt sooo last year”. I know I am exaggerating but I do it for effect to get the point across. :)
