About Me
Well after a recent experience with a so called "recovering" heroine addict and all the BS drama that came with it, I'm going put this out there up front and very blunt... IF YOU HAVE EVER DONE OR ARE USING DRUGS PASS ME BY! I WILL DROP YOU IN A FLASH! If I find out that you have and we just happen to be out on a date at the time, I hope for your sake that you either drove your own car, have a friend willing to come pick you up, have enough money for a cab, or really enjoy walking cause I WILL leave you where ever. And that includes on the side of the road! Now that that's out of the way...
I am new to the area and looking for some new friends, and if something more follows then so be it. Its been way to long since I've really dated so please bare with me. Over 6 years to be exact. I'm not really sure what I'm looking for here, but I do know that I'd love to find someone to hang out with and get to know on a more personal level. Someone that could ease me back in the wonderful world of dating.
I like all types of music except for country and polka!! Both of those make me want to hurl! LOL!! I realize that being in the south country music is pretty much everywhere. So I've probably lost some brownie points for my dislike of it. LOL!! I use to play the drums when I was younger and would love to get back into it. I like Action/adventure, Suspense/thriller, Comedy, and Horror movies. I like watching Law and order, Dexter, Fresh Prince, Saved By The Bell (don't judge me!! LOL), Bones, The Finder, Glee(don't judge me), Forensic Files and anything to do with catching criminals. I like watching documentaries on various topics. I just can't stand those BS reality shows. What is so interesting about watching a family that is probably just as screwed up as your own. Why not just film your own life and then sit and watch it? Pretty much no difference. I have my nerdy side too cause I loved the Harry Potter, Lord Of The Rings, and Hannibl books. I've even read, and liked, the Twilight series. I love to play and watch soccer. I'm not much of a football fan, but if Alabama is playing then I'll be watching the Tide rolling in.
I will probably loose more brownie points for this but here goes anyway. While I'm not a religious person, I do believe in God. I stopped going to church when I saw that they are full of double standards, hypocrites, and people that think their sh!t doesn't stink. Just way to much of the whole "do as I say, not as I do" going on. I thought church was suppose to be a place that people went for spiritual guidance, not to have other people look down on you for whatever reason.
I am who I am and I'm not going to change that. I can be brutally honest and have been known to hurt peoples feelings. I can be very open about myself and am not ashamed of who I am, my body, what I've done, and who I've done it with. You will find this out about me in a very short time frame and if you can't handle it then please don't act like you can only to let it become an issue later on. I don't need to have my time wasted by someone who was never really interested in the first place. Thanks!
Now a bit more about me and where I come from. My parents were both in the Army when I was born. They split when I was about 2-3yrs old. Mom married a Marine and moved to NC, dad got custody of me and lives in AL. I lived there till I was 15, with summer visits to NC/PA, where ever my step dad was stationed at the time, to see my mom. At 15 I went to live with my mom in NC. Graduated HS and joined the Air Force two months later. I was in Basic Training when 9/11/01 happened. From there I was sent to my technical training to learn how to be a aircraft weapons specialist. Upon graduating tech-school, I was stationed in Aviano air base Italy for two years. I miss it there and wish I could go back for a visit some time. From there I was stationed at Luke AFB in Phoenix AZ for the remainder of my enlistment. When I got out I moved to L.A., CA. I stayed with family till I got enough money to come back to NC to be closer to more immediate family. That was back in 06. Things went sour with the job I had, got laid off due to lack of business, and I couldn't stand by to watch my family turn into a bunch of hicks. I've been here in GA since the middle of Feb and so far I like the area. Although, the commute to work could be better. HAHA I work for Sears in the auto-center as a technician and for the most part, I like my job. Due to working so much I've not really had the chance to get out there and meet people so I'm hoping maybe this site will make the meeting of people easier.

Well seeing as I'm new the area, I wouldn't know of any place to go. So I'm looking for some guidance from you on this one! LOL!!!
OK so I had no idea that I would have to post something like this in my profile. But it seems that I must. Now I know I'm not the smartest guy in the world, but to me, if you sign up on a dating site and are given the space to write a profile, what you want, what you're looking for, etc... that this is indeed what you are looking for. Correct? Well I guess some people just weren't awake or present the day common sense was taught in class cause I've had several people message me to tell me how I should write MY profile! You're probably saying to yourself: Really? To which I say: REALLY! I'm sorry but last I checked I was under the impression that if you don't like a persons profile, you should pass it over! Not message them to tell them that they are jerks or that they should write this instead of that... Sorry but when it comes to me looking for a potential partner I have the right to look for what I WANT! Not what you think I should want! Hell, that's like telling a guy who's lost in the sweltering desert that he shouldn't want water! YES HE DOES! If you are such experts on writing a profile that catches the eye of everyone that reads it then why the hell are you STILL looking for someone when you should've clearly found someone?! Two can play at this game though. Ladies, lets talk about how you describe your body type. If you are wider than you are tall, YOU DO NOT HAVE AN ATHLETIC BODY! Don't post up a picture of yourself that clearly shows that you have "a few extra pounds" and say that you are an "average body type." You honestly think that if you manage to actually meet someone that you said this to they aren't gonna see that you out right lied about this? Lets be real. Wouldn't you rather have someone that likes you for who you are, completely, than lie to someone only to get hurt cause you weren't honest? Well that's what I've done in my profile. I've written what I am looking for and if its not you, then oh well. DEAL WITH IT! I don't need to you to come at me and tell me why I should over look the fact that you've done drugs, or that you look like a weeble wobble. YOU JUST AREN'T WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR. If this makes me shallow, stuck up, or and a$$hole then I will deal with it! I don't go to every profile with an attractive woman and tell them why I think they are wrong because they only want a guy that is built like Arnold Schwarzenegger. I respect that they are looking for something that I KNOW I AM NOT and MOVE ON! By trying to convince me otherwise just shows how desperate and pathetic you are and only makes my point that much stronger.
