Just looking for someone who knows how to treat a guy, has some things in common with me, has a good personality, isn't fake, enjoys life, doesn't sweat the small stuff, is interested in getting to know me as well, likes to have fun on dates, doesn't live too far away, is kind-hearted, willing to put in the effort, has some hobbies, takes care of herself, doesn't do drugs, doesn't smoke, doesn't drink daily or weekly...You get the idea.

It would be nice if when I message someone, they could respond regardless if they are interested or not, it's just polite and shows respect. I would do the same for you. And I see some women profiles that say, "If you say you want to 'meet me', why don't you just message me...?" But then when I message them with something more than a "Hey, how's it going.", they don't respond at all. It also helps to have more than one photo of yourself because it usually is a red flag or it could mean you're a catfish. Just some thoughts.

Lastly, if you're going to say you're well educated, maybe learn how to spell, use correct grammar and punctuation, and use complete sentences perhaps.

Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Something in a social setting, that way it's more conversation rather than an on-going interview. But really it's what you make of it that counts ;-)
