"Listen To This First" - I wish there was a podcast for those who have told their stories so many times to first or second dates where it's become tiresome. It would include snippets of friends. Maybe a coworker. Possibly family. An audio portrait, if you will, of your best and worst. Possibly narrated by a quirky host with thick rimmed glasses and/or an NPR voice. It of course would be sponsored by MailChimp. Because every podcast seems to be sponsored by MailChimp.
So allow me to begin, without the audio.
According to many Internet articles, and my experience, if you're single, it can be tough meeting someone in the D. So, I'm here. I'm guessing you, too, if you're reading this.
If you interviewed my dog she would say I'm good at feeding and walking her on time (and she'd like someone else to petition for treats). My co-workers would say I bring a laugh and a smile along with my work, and not to sweat the small stuff.. And it's all small stuff. My cousin would tell you everything about me, just buy her a SoCo Manhattan. My bartender would tell you I tipped well and held the doors open for people (and will dance with a lady when appropriate, and with a man just for laughs).
And my best friends will tell you I like to have fun, am loyal, and probably need to date someone just so I stop sending them pictures of the next greatest macaroni and cheese I've found. They're really over it by now.
Really. They are. Help them. Message me for them, they'll be eternally grateful.
If you want to enjoy the city or a night in, have a laugh, and otherwise cause trouble.. I'd like to hear from you!
