This woman wants to share her love of travel, short and long. It is no fun going alone. Having recently retired & my immediate goal is to get to Hawaii this year. I've seen Alaska and England/Ireland and want to see more. I meet people easily and am at ease in most social situations. Considered intelligent I can hold my own in conversation, but listen well, too. In the past I have connected with both older and younger men. The first comment is usually "You really don't look or act your age" or "What is your secret?". I am looking for a man who shares my love of oldies and Doo Wop music and might actually dance in the parking lot occasionally. He has a wide circle of friends and family to fill out his life, just as I do. I consider myself a well educated country girl and live on some acreage. I can take care of myself, but would like a strong shoulder to lean on. A passionate temperment dictates that I love deeply when I commit, but have learned a bit of caution. I am an odd blend of compassion and kick in the pants attitudes. If you can handle a heart of gold with a streak of independence and some middle of the road politics (Yes, I would have voted for Hillary.)who goes to chuch most Sunday's then we should talk.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I love good food and conversation so dinner where we don't have to rent the table if we stay too long would be a good start. Something later with a flexible timetable like a movie or dancing would be nice. However, just a ride down to Peach Park for some ice cream and a swing in the gardens (weather permitting) would be just as appreciated. I love surprises so get creative!
