I am a laid back, easy going guy. I try to make the most of the moments I am given in this life and I try to keep on a positive path. I love nature and the outdoors, intelligent conversation, cooking, dining, riding, movies, a wide variety of interests so just ask. I might have a drink or go to a club or bar on occasion, but it is not an everyday event nor is it something I feel I have to do. If that consumes much of your time, then I am not interested.
I like to keep a good sense of humor. Laughing always helps you enjoy life. I work full time and provide for myself so I am blessed in that respect. I've had some serious disappointments in other relationships - It's especially painful when you thought things were going well until a hidden truth comes to light and you have to face the fact that you are no longer the priority you once were. I guess you can chalk it up as another lesson in life. At least it helps me appreciate the good moments I do experience.
I state that I want nothing serious, not because I am opposed to that, but for now I just want to take things easy. I want to take the time to hang out with and talk with someone so that we can get to know each other better. If we click and things go well, then we can see where it goes. If not, that's fine too, I'd rather we be honest and tell each other than to string things along and live a lie. I can respect someone who has the courage to tell me straight up and not play any misleading games.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Something casual would be nice. Checking out a festival, fair or public event, meeting up for a soda or drink, walking in the park along side a lake or river, basically anything laid back that would give us the chance to chat and learn a little more about each other without feeling nervous or pressured.
If you are someone who wants to date around, that's cool, just be upfront and honest about it. Don't ask for a commitment that you won't make yourself. Don't make a commitment that you don't intend to honor. This isn't Drama-Mama Jr. High. Nobody needs to deal with that kind of Mickey Mouse B/S.
