About Me
With maturity comes the security of knowing what you want and not having to settle for less.
Love life and am thankful for everyday! Consider myself a trendy, attractive person. Financially secure. Comfortable in heels and sneakers. Own a home and have a great job that I love. Very patient. I could lie about my age-I know I look younger-but why start any relationship not telling the truth.
Seeking: Prefer 5'10 and above and steadily employed with a job he is proud of. A nice dresser but also comfortable in jeans and work boots. A man who has children of his own and can relate to single parenthood OR is an honest, patient man who understands that I have responsibilities that go beyond him and me. Handy around the house with the look of someone who can take care of himself (physique).
Long story about marriage, divorce, death, but the most important fact is that I have children - 18 (soon going off to college),16 and 8. My 8 year old lives with me all of the time and the best part is that he makes me smile EVERYDAY! It wasn't in my life plan to raise him by myself - but destiny had other plans for us. And yes I am aware most people my age have grown kids and the freedom to come and go when they want.
I am an adventurer who did scuba diving, skiing (not very well but "A" for effort), rode enduro bikes and Harleys, and even worked a farm. There will be plenty of time for me to sit on a couch and watch tv when I am too old to get up...until then I am up and moving almost all day...everyday!
I am not promoting these spots but if you want to get dressed up and get out with an upscale crowd (and avoid the crazy drunk crowd) head to Franks Waterside in North Bergen for the best view of NYC in the warmer weather. As it gets cooler head over to the Stony Hill Inn in Hackensack, The Balcony in Carlstadt. or Portabellos in Oakland. Of course if you are into kickin it up country style, you can't beat the Colorado Cafe.
