About Me
Hi, I am just getting started with on-line stuff and find it a bit weird but here goes...
I tend to be a bit shy, but still enjoy being social, I like being with good friends and new ones, eating out at small intimate restaurants with different foods and good wines. I enjoy interesting conversations on a variety of subjects. I have traveled extensively throughout the world and enjoy going to new places, meeting new people and foods. I tend to keep myself healthy, rather than fit, eating well and exercising when I can. I am not a gym junky but would rather cycle or light run than to pump iron. I enjoy a variety of sports like walking, runs, cycling or walking at the bottom of pools (can't swim well). I like to watch some sport on TV, but this limited. Marbles are OK on my agenda, twister.....
My interest include dabbling in the stock market, real estate and renovating houses are included. I know how to mow the lawn. I love to cook, trying new cuisine, not always successfully, but do try. (I once made lasagna and the dog would not even eat it).
Any movie but not horror, or useless violence. Generally like foreign movies, especially with twists in them. Like Gold Pass cinema experience. I like to watch British Humour, or movies like Intouchables. Like to read but over the past few years had too little time. Favorite author is John Grimshaw, & Stephen King, I enjoy just about anything with suspense thrillers. Autobiographies, like Nelson Manduela's 'long march to freedom' are a great inspiration.
Whilst I find this a strange way to meet new people, most of my friends could give you a better description of who I am and what I am like as a person, but that would mean that you have to interview them all, I think us meeting will give you a good idea a lot sooner. (haha).
Note I live in the Morningside area (Brisbane) but work on the Gold Coast, so I am "home" at both.

First Date
The first date should be relaxed as possible, to allow for any chemistry to establish. As I don't have a fixed idea on an ideal partner or any strict criteria, its more important that the person should be confident and secure in themselves such that they can contribute to the relationship in their own right. Therefore the first date should allow open communication, in a relaxed and friendly environment. Coffee or dinner parties are often a good start. I believe chemistry is an important part of any relationship, without it we are wasting our time.
