About Me
I'm not really looking for anything (Then why are you here? Ha!) You're supposed to hang with people because you want to, not because you need to. That's how I look at it. Other than that, no expectations, no prejudgment. Clean slates all around.
I'm easy-going, funny, kind and gentle. I like to touch....except when you have cold feet. I like animals and for some reason they like me. It must be cause I speak the language. I can cook, but usually don't because when I'm hungry, I want it now, not in half an hour. I can't imagine why anyone can't follow a recipe. I pick contrary opinions to defend, not because I agree but because somebody should probably pick them. I watch and listen. I say lots and sometimes nothing at all. There's nary a mean bone in my body. So when I point out the dumb things that people do, it's to help them, not harm.
And sometimes, I say the rudest and most offensive things. They are so bad that I can't possibly be serious. So bad that you're gonna laugh, even if you feel dirty once you catch your breath. ;) Yeah I know, probably not the best thing to say...kinda like the salesman telling you there's rust under the floormats......but hey, better you know now.
I do know when to behave though.
*A few random bits*.......nerdgirls are hot, lolcats amuse me, smoking is gross, and I'm not down with OPP....aaaaand I love the rain. It's awesome.
I like/want:
-someone who knows that what we do isn't really important, just that you do it together
-someone who can have a conversation is nice, someone who doesn't need one is better... there's just something about a "mornin", a smile and a knowing look.
-someone with a nerdy hobby.
-someone who realizes I'm probably not going to tell you I stubbed my toe yesterday. it hurt, I dealt with it.
when I do ask for help though, get your boots, it's probably big.
-someone who can laugh at themself. i do it all the time. laugh at me, not you....unless you do something funny, then i'll laugh while apologizing. sorry hun, that was pretty funny
-someone who appreciates a good wander. the where doesn't really matter
-someone who can take this with a grain of salt. it's a wishlist afterall

First Date
I'm more likely to go to a movie or stay in and cook dinner. If it's a DATE, date....then I'll think of something special. I don't know what right now but I will. Coffee? Personally I don't drink the stuff, so I go for the hot chocolate instead.
At the moment I'm currently limping around with what's likely a torn meniscus in one knee. That means no running around for the time being. It sucks, but this too shall pass. Why am I telling you this? It's why I'm not jumping at an invite to go hiking. Not that it's not a cool idea though.
Bonus points if you can tell me why are there so many songs about rainbows.
