Hi! Thanks for reading my profile! ... I just moved to Buzzards Bay, MA and I am looking to meet people, even for friends. Originally, I am from the land of potatoes (otherwise known as northern Maine)! I love the outdoors, hiking, biking, rollerblading, skiing, snowboarding, etc.
I play guitar for fun, read books, entertain myself with B rated movies, and have a profound love of sports! Yes, gentlemen, you have heard me correctly! I love to watch sports, yell at the refs for making a bad call, and swear on a stack of bibles that I will not switch the channel on you (except maybe during commercials). In return, all I ask is that you say yes to accompanying me to an occasional chick flick...
I have a small knowledge of car parts, and have frequently fixed the lawnmower. It's currently running, so I guess I did something right! I also enjoy motorcycles (wish I had one), snowmobiling, etc. However, I am sad to report that NASCAR bores me! Sorry fellas! It's my one flaw (wink, wink)!
So moving on from my slightly impressive mechanical skills... I have worked at college and high school institutions for the last 11 years. I just finished that chapter of my life and now work for a nonprofit organization that works closely with the housing court system in Massachusetts. I really love my job, and like to do things that make me happy. I'm optimistic by nature, a great friend, and care deeply about how people feel. Life's too short to be mean! My family and friends are important to me, and I like to spend time with them whenever I can.
I am a big fan of travel and mini road trips! Chocolate fixes EVERYTHING! AND, I have been known to play a video game or two!
