About Me
My motto is: Try everything at least once. And for the most part, I would say, I try to live my life that way. I have enjoyed traveling and photographing in Latin America, Asia and Africa, and these experiences have given me a somewhat global view of the world. I have marveled at the beauty of cultures and the warmth of people around the world, as well as witnessing their hardships and poverty. Besides traveling, I love music, movies, dance, photography, art & cultural exhibits, pamperings and hanging out with good friends. I love listening to reggae, R&B, soul, world, old school, funk and jazz music.
I have a Masters of Journalism degree, focusing on TV/Documentary production. I would love to produce international stories from the developing world, Asia and Africa, to help give voice to those in need of representation. (Traveling in those parts of the world had been the impetus for me going back to school.) But I actually focus more on shooting locally as both a videographer and video journalist. Hoping to get back out into the world with camera in hand soon.
I'd love to meet a gentleman, a man with the same ideals as myself, someone who is physically fit, intelligent, aware, who can hold his own, has sense of humor, even a wisp of sarcasm, is adventurous, preferably with understanding of other cultures, preferably a reggae lover, someone with compassion and understanding - a strong man to complement, challenge and back me.
