Bobbi-Lynn & Brian
Bobbi-Lynn's Story on how we met:
Brian and I met on POF on April 4, 2009. Brian had his settings set on POF that no younger then 23 could message him. I was 20 at the time and just thought hey I'll add him to my favioutres list and see what happens. Thank god he read my profile and fell in love with it. He messaged me right away. We hit off instantly via emails and webcam chats. We set our first date for April 8th, 2009. I got a severe chest infection and was going to cancel. Brian said hell no! I was taken off work for a week and could not leave the house. So against my better judgment I invited him over for dinner. Which I did not know at the time, I cooked him his Favorite meal, chicken legs. We hit it off instantly and knew very early on that they were it for each other. Brian asked me to be his girlfriend on May 11th, 2011 and since then the both of them are inseparable.
Brian's Story on how he proposed:
Its April 2011, Bobbi-Lynn and I had just celebrated our two year anniversary together. So I am starting to think I am with this girl two years and we are still going strong through the good times and the bad. Then I start thinking this is the girl I want to marry she had no clue that I was thinking this. The original plan was to propose to her on February 29th, 2012 which is a day for anyone who has Irish roots a lucky day to get engaged on. In October 2011 I realized I could not delay this anymore. On October 18th, 2011 after I dropped Bobbi-Lynn off to work I went to Bogarts to look at engagement rings. I had a idea already of what type of ring I was going to get her because from day one in our relationship I knew she liked white gold and no square shaped diamonds. So after ten minutes I had a ring picked out. I was so excited because I knew I was soon going to be engaged. Bobbi-Lynn had a idea there was something up because there was $350 missing out of our joint bank account. We had plans to go out with our friends for supper the next day and she though I might be proposing. But I started a fight with her and told her no way was I doing that in front of our friends. So she was believing it was not going to happen. Then on Saturday October 22nd, 2011 it was time for us to go to supper. I was very nervous my heart was beating 100 miles a minute. We had to wait forever for a table at Jungle Jims on George street, by this point I was shaking like a leaf. With the engagement ring in my coat pocket holding on to it for dear life. Finally we and eight of our friends are seated so we ordered our supper and once everyone ordered I got on one knee and proposed. It was the most nerve wrecking thing I had ever done in my life and I could not even open the box with the ring in it at first. But once I did, I asked Bobbi-Lynn to be my wife and she said yes and made me a very happy lad.
We both are very happy to say we can't wait to spend the rest of our life together. We are getting married September 7, 2013.
Thanks POF for bringing us together!
