We, of course, met here on Plenty of Fish. I had come across DJ's profile one night, and while I was interested in getting to know him and wanted to message him, I was afraid he would not be interested in me. About 2 minutes after I chickened out from messaging him, I got a message from him! We hit it off pretty instantly. After talking for a few days we decided to meet in person. I always used to make fun of those who used the term "love at first sight", but I now know what it feels like. I saw DJ for the first time and I just had this FEELING that he was the one. We literally spend the entire night talking and laughing and getting to know each other.. and before we knew it, it was almost 3am! We have been together ever since! We are now engaged and are planning a May 2014 wedding. I have found my best friend and soul mate and I thank Plenty of Fish for that!! I am forever grateful!!
