I saw Jamie's profile and saw what I liked so I added her profile as a favorite, because I was going to message her later and thought I would save it just in case I wasn't able to find it later. Little did I know that she would get an e-mail saying I added her as a favorite and then we started talking that day. That was on July 15th, 2010, we talked at least three hours that night getting to know each other, little did we both know at that time we would be married to each other. We kept talking every night for at least 2-3 hours a night and then on July 29th, we made it official even though we hadn't met in person, but we met in person a couple of days later when she came to where I was living with her kids and it was what you would call love at first sight, neither of us wanted to leave each other's side, but I had to work early the next morning, also both of her daughters became instantly attached to me, which is odd because they are usually shy around new people. About a week later she made a special trip to come see me because I had a doctor's appointment, I had been disgnosed with cancer about a year before and was done with chemo and they found a spot in my chest and the doctors weren't for sure it was from the cancer or something new. She stayed up all night the night before making me cookies and various other baked goods that I liked, because she thought that if I had got bad news this was comfort food and if it was good news it was celebration food, which it turned out being good news. I think the reason we hit it off from the start is because we are both cancer survivors. We can relate to each other. About a month later I ended up moving in with her and her daughters, it seemed quick but it just felt right. Then fast forward to New Years 2011, and as the clocked struck midnight and she went to go grab the champagne glasses I dropped to one knee and asked her to marry me.Of course she said yes. Fast forward to a week before Valentine's Day 2012, one of us was on Facebook checking and one of the local radio stations had posted an ad on facebook saying they would like to have couples either get married on air or renew their vows on air, and we talked about it and thought we would call and put our names out there figuring there would probably be a bunch wanting to do it, little did we know we were the only ones interested in getting married, so we got married live on the radio on Valentines Day 2012, and the only ones that were there were the ones close who could make it. People say they can't find love online, they have never tried then.
