I had just ended a relationship and decided I needed a new one to get over my depression. I registered at POF and was only a member for 3 days before I decided I wasn't ready to get involved with anyone. During that 3 days, I had been contacted by one guy that got my attention. We emailed a few times back and forth, but then I decided to end my membership and wasn't interested in talking to anyone at the time. I had forgotten though, that I had given Darin my phone number. A couple days later, I had received a phone call from him asking me out. I decided I should probably go since I had given him my number. We met at PF Changs and had dinner. He knows about this, but at first I didn't feel any chemistry and thought I'd never see him again. We kept in contact over the phone and he came to my apt. one night and cooked dinner. He asked if he could kiss me and I said I didn't want to lead him on so I thought it'd be best to be friends. He had just about given up on me after that, and I wasn't really planning on seeing him again, but one night I was really upset and the only person I could think to call was him. He came right over and listened to every word I said and was so sweet. After getting to know him, we realized how much we had in common and we were both Christians which was a very important factor for us. I have found my perfect match and I thank God every day for bringing him into my life. I wouldn't be the person I am today without him. Thank you POF for bringing us together!! We will be married in a few weeks and I can't wait!!
