Collene Lyn (leneylyn) & Brian
Well, brian emailed me one day i think it may have been the 8th or 9th of April. I was actually coming on to delete my account because it just wasnt working for me, and brian was just getting started and i was the first to ever write him back, and the only. We started hanging out, went for some drive, he helped me out through some hard times i was going through, and we really just hit it off. Brian's my angel, my miracle, its a miracle hes alive today 4 year survivor of Hodgkins Lymphona (5 year in november). I myself do a lot of volunteer work for LLS (leukemia and lymphoma society). So it was fate. Later i came to find out that he lived, and his family owned the house where my first ever boyfriend lived when we were kids, and the house i spent days upon months, also to find out his grandmother had known me for years upon years. It was all just surreal. The months went by, we played a lot of mini golf, had an amazing summer together, went to parks, met eachothers families, and just spent time relaxing and ejoying life. On november the 7th, brian stitting on my front porch steps purposed to me, this day was amazing, Its the day he got to sepnd his first whole new day cancer free and alive just four years before, and its now even more memorable. We spent the holidays together, and i would say it really shows how much a person truely knows you and appreciates you! Our relationship is special, not one based on sex, or anything of the sort, that has not even come across our minds, and it will be amazing on our wedding night when we finally say, ha, we proved the world wrong, relationships dont have to be about sex, or have anythiing of that matter to do with it. We will be sharing our one year anniversary on the 11th of april, and in three short months we will be taking a leap and be getting married. His family never expected to find someone who fit so well and accepted him for who and what he is, much less for him to be able to get married, they were just happy to have him alive. Nor did my family expect me to find someone who would accept me with all of my bad happeneing. I can say for myself, that it was fate that brian got his email into be in those few short hours before i closed my account. Im really happy with the way our lives turned out and im sure that he is as well!! Thanks Plenty of Fish, our cake topper is dedicated to you. (its a groom sitting on the edge of a cake with a fishing pole connected to an engagement ring, and a red headed bride reaching up for him to catch her)
