I joined POF because my girlfrienmd had badgered me ointo it, insisting it was a good place to find a date for an occasional outing. When Kevin first contacted me I thought he was interesting to email with, but wasn't sure we would ever meet. Then the big snow storm hit. A really big snow storm. We had accumulations of 4 feet. We had been talking on the phone a little and I mentioned to Kevin on February 07, 2010 that I was snowed in. He offered to come over and shovel out my car. I thought it would be too much trouble but he insisted it wasn't. He showed up with a snow shovel and a bag of salt and shoveled out my car and salted all around my parking space. I invited him to come in for hot chocolate and we talked for a little bit. He was much more handsome in person, but he seemed a little shy. In a couple of days we decided to meet up again and we met a few times over the next couple of weeks. I had first thought he was just a really fun person to be around, but more liek a friend. We talked a lot (I talked a lot!) and we enjoyed watching movies and eating out. Soon, something began to change. I started to look at Kevin in a different way. The more I got to know him, the more I realized I was falling in love with him. He told me he loved me on March 20, 2010 and I told him i was in love with him also. We knew from then that we wanted to s[pend our lives together. Kevin is everything I ever wanted and more than I ever dreamed I would actually find. I had even spent a good amount of money on some of those pay dating sites and never met anyone i even felt attracted to despite their assurances that the people were "highly compatible" with me. I was totally taken by surprise when Kevin came into my life. Every day is a gift and a blessing with Kevin in my life. We were married on October 22, 2010. I have never been so happy in my life and I am so grateful for POF bringing us together.
