About Me
So.... here's the deal. I just took a new job that ended up moving me from my hometown of Saskatoon to Calgary, and I don't know this city particularly well. I do like the Rural Alberta Advantage, for whatever that counts for (possibly nothing).
I like a lot of other stuff as well. For example:
Live music is awesome and seeing a show is my favourite thing to do on a weekend-night. Stand-up comedy is awesome (I dabble), and I cherish the outlet it provides for me to be creative+get attention (which I crave). Cups of tea are awesome and I'm drinking a glass of chai green as I type this. My friends are awesome and I'm always looking forward to the days we're all in the same city again. Touch football is awesome, ultimate frisbee is awesome, actually, all sports are pretty awesome and that's my favourite way to take advantage of a summer night. Speaking of summer, it's the greatest. Winter is a thief. So is sleep, come to mention it.
I'm huge on twitter (not actually). I bet I can make you laugh. I wish I could go back and change my high school yearbook graduation quote. I can't do a backflip and that occasionally wreaks havoc on my confidence. I can do a pretty deadly round-off, though. I laugh every time I hear the word "rocktopus", and that scenario comes around more often than you'd think. I've never had a bad time participating in a conga line. I don't do drugs. I DO do sushi.
