About Me
I am taking a break from here for a time; taking time to heal as the result of a nasty accident. I will recover, but it is a journey. In the meantime, long walks, hiking and dancing are out...relaxing and reading, and conversation are my busy activities. The slower pace is nice, but...can't wait to get back to busy. Hi, thanks for stopping by. I'm low maintenance, easy-going, friendly, and easy to talk to. I'm neither jealous nor controlling, and I dislike drama unless it's on movie screen or a stage. My sense of humour is always there. I try to remain positive and I am happy most of the time and can find humour in almost anything, especially myself. I don't take myself too seriously. I'm reasonably intelligent and would expect the same in you. I like to walk, hike and kayak, but I don't ride a bicycle. I like to dance occasionally, and I enjoy reading, motorcycles, theatres, movies, art shows, museums and my computer. I don't mind hanging out at home and I'm a pretty good cook, although I don’t find cooking for one as much fun as for two. I need some practice. My family is, of course, most important to me. Looking forward to my 2nd grandbaby in the spring. Retirement is still on the horizon (not looming yet)and I would love to retire on the Island.
