One day I was looking for plenty of fish because I was hungry. Silly me, I looked on the internet and found this instead.

I am looking for someone who will cook me dinner, clean my house, work two full time jobs and give me all her money, while I sit on my fat tush, eating bon bons and watch soap operas all day long, and be a tongue fu fighter.

I finally signed in today (31 Dec. 2010) because I had an email from someone after not being on here for over six months if I was to guess. I had forgotten I even had an account here until the message showed up in my inbox. I have to say this is such a lame idea having to determine who you will see and who you will not. I personally am taking quite a bit of offense at what they made me do to view this email (in terms of defining who I will and who I will not see without providing options that are ambigious (i.e. maybe I will date a smoker, etc.). The world is not a black and white place. This is total and utter bullshit, because I am seeing this polarization happening more and more in everyday life. And I am not happy about it - anyways, enough of my rant.
Oh (I guess I wasn't finished my rant afterall) and then to have to determine my income on top of that. That is a complete assault on my intelligence and privacy and I find this highly insulting and invasive. This part is addressed to PoF specifically. If it is your business to know how much money I make I will let you know. So far the only people that know that amount are my banker, my accountant and the CCRA. I plan to keep it that way, unless something significant changes. This just pisses me off to no end.

This is a guideline of sorts of qualities that am I looking for in a partner. I would expect you would have similar expectations of me. I have never met anyone that is perfect yet (even though I like to think I am in every way - j/k)... This list is the ideal of what my partner would be, and some qualities I am more flexible on than others, and rank has nothing to do with is most important:
1.) she is generally positive
2.) she is socially skilled
3.) she is clean of drug or alcohol problems (social alcohol consumption in moderation is fine)
4.) she is culturally aware
5.) she is open-minded and adventurous
6.) she is frugal and responsible
7.) she is flexible and willing to compromise
8.) she is loyal
9.) she is honest
10.) she is fun to be with
11.) she gives me space as needed, as do I
12.) she understands that love develops over time
Of course I would want someone beautiful, but I have learned a long time ago that it is the inner beauty that is of more interest to me than the outside. If you have a ready smile and a pleasant personality, I am interested in you... whether anything comes from it romantically or not.

I remember my first date fondly... I was very young and my mother gave it to me, because she thought it would make me big and strong. Little did she know it made me dwarfish and an extra for the Hobbits in the Lord of the Rings. LOL
