Most people think dates should start in the evening, dinner and a movie, going out to a club, etc. Well, when do you have time to get to know each other better? We're in hawaii so take advantage!! I would like to get to know my date, talk to them. I would love to go bowling, or to a Luau, or a dinner cruise. Heck, just going to Hanama Bay and going snorkeling and sitting on the beach talking. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE going to the movies, but who says it has to be at night? Why not go on a Saturday afternoon and if things are going great, then make an entire day of it. My first date would be to get an early lunch somewhere, a good hole in the wall place with great food, go to an early movie (something we've discussed over lunch) then go for a nice drive up to North Shore where we could talk about the movie on the way, and hit up my favorite Shave Ice place, M. Matsumoto, for the best Shave Ice in the WORLD!!! Then, on the drive home from North Shore, we could talk about how the date went and if we would like for it to continue until the evening. If it goes that long, then we go to our respective places to freshen up for evening wear, and go, not to a club, but to a local bar or pool hall, or even bowling ally, where we could get a few drinks and chit chat while shooting some pool, throwing darts, or bowling. Thats what I would like to do on a first date.
