I've been told that I'm funny, witty and charming all the same time. I have an easy time of making people laugh. Most of the time with me, but sometimes at me as well. (lol) I'm one of those people who reads a lot and pays attention to what's going on in the world around me. What I find attractive more than anything is someone who is not afraid to let their opinion known and who is not afraid to let people know that they're intelligent. We don't have to know the same things or have the same opinions; in fact I like hearing from people who's thoughts feelings and backgrounds are different from mine. I do have a few passions. In other words, things that I enjoy and like to talk about frequently. First of all, I have 2 bachelor's degrees. One in History and one in Buisness. Of the two, it's history that has my heart even if my business degree rules my wallet. I'm also a sports fan. No, not one of those "oh my god, if I don't watch the game I'll die" types, but I *do* enjoy watching the Mavericks, and above all else the Dallas Cowboys. My dad was a football coach growing up, so I guess it rubbed off on me. Baseball, on the other hand, is a good nap spoiled! LOL
One thing I'd like to add. It takes a lot of bravery to be on a site like this. When you email or IM somebody, it takes a measure of courage to put yourself out there like that. I admire that. If you email or IM me, I'm going to respond simply because I know what it feels like to see a "read/deleted" in my outbox. You can also get a hold of me on yahoo or aol. My ID on both is spidey1087.
First dates are very important. You never get a second chance to make a first impression. Each first date is different, but I look at it as a way to impress the other person. My ideal first date would be to start the evening with a nice meal and some talk to get to know each other a little better. Next would be something that either we both enjoy or something neither of us has done before. I always like my first dates to be memorable. Something like sitting on the edge at the top of Reunion Tower under a full moon and talking for a few hours. Or going to a karyoke bar and badly mauling a classic duet together. Or grabbing and umbrella and dancing in the rain like Gene Kelly. As long as I'm spending time with that person and the date is unique, I'm going to enjoy it.
