About Me
I believe that everyone that comes into our life changes us in some way, brings out a whole new side we have never shown in previous relationships, friendships. Meeting new people also gives us the opportunity to grown & learn as a person, experience new things, places and emotions. The positives of meeting the right person can be profound and life changing, many (most) of us have experienced the feeling of euphoria that love can bring. The trick is to not only maintain but, make each day better than the one before. That's what I'm looking for.
I believe in a peaceful realtionship, one with open and honest communication. Further, I believe that relationships are a partnership between 2 people built on trust, respect & loyalty .. and of course, love..that's it..simple, right? My ideal partner would live by some sense of values/morals, without that I don't believe there is much to build on. I believe that chemistry is a very important part of any relationship, it's either there or it isn't. So if I don't respond, please don't be offended. I just don't see the sense in responding unless my heart is truly in it. I'm not on here to strike up many relationships with many different people I know I will never meet, I simply don't have the time.
A sense of humour is a must..I love to laugh, play and be happy...enjoy special moments, family an friends. I really love music, whether it's playing or listening. I honestly can't imagine a world without tunes, I would go crazy. I love to go for a walk or hike, anything outdoors. Tropical vacations score very high on my priority list of things to do, I love the Mayan Riviera and how it soothes my soul. You just can't beat those fine white sandy beaches and the warm and inviting/refreshing, absolutely amazing blue & green turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. After a swim you can park yourself on a lawnchair with a drink in hand, soke up some serious sun & stunning views, all the while surrounded by luscious tropical forest and green palms reaching for a fabulous pastel blue sky. I'm thinking that it's time to plan another trip south.
I have a 28 year old daughter that means the absolute world to me and I am both blessed and grateful to have her in my life. As of January 2011 she has made me a Grandpa, where does the time go..? I can't begin to say what an amazing and special time this is for my family, it brings back some very fond memories of when my daughter was born. Even cooler than that, I now get to watch her experience all the wonders of being a parent that she made possible for me. Raising a child does things to your heart & soul that you don't begin to expect and changes who we are forever. It truly is one of the very best experiences you will ever go through in your entire life.
I was raised to say please and thank you, to have respect for my elders, to lend a helping hand to those who are in need, to hold the door for the person behind me, to say excuse me when it's needed, and to love people for who they are, not for what you can get from them! I was taught to treat people the way I want to be treated. Anyway, if you think even kind of the way I do, I'd love to hear from you.
