I'm looking for magic this time around; magic that's real. My ex left me in 1995, we divorced in 2003. I want someone who has a very deep capacity for love. Here is a poem I wrote in that direction.
“ Do What We Hunger To ”
You’re my life, you are my Darling.
For you I would do anything.
I long to know you very deeply;
Just give it time and you will see.
Never in my life, no never in my life
Have I felt so sure and so enticed.
You are magic to all my senses
And tend to break down my defenses.
Why, oh why can’t I have you now?
Give up your secrets, tell me how.
What or whom are you waiting for?
Our love is so deep, yet will soar.
I know you see passion’s lofty ways
And I’ll wait for you day after day.
I admire and honor how you love;
When will you see it’s from above?
The blessing of a lifetime true love is.
Too many vows escape in a fizz.
You are for me and I am for you.
Soon let’s do what we hunger to.
I will stand as a stallion, pounded by hooves and my heart will ever wait for you. No matter what happens nothing will change my intentions of the very best for you. My unconditional love will only grow deeper in respect and understanding of your wonderful complexities. I will explore with you places in fantacy as often as you wish.
I don't mind if you can't stand me sometimes. I will know that if at times you adore me...it will be forever, for our love will grow.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
On a first date, it would start with choices. The choices would be hers and the possibiities would be both of ours. I might have suggestions...such as "let's do something you've always wanted to do." or "let's do something you never get tired of doing." I'm a dominant type indirectly. As I choose to follow, I am actually encouraging my lover to expand...to be more creative and assertive and strong. If that does occures, I am truely a leader...simply by following and encouraging.
Not wanting to alarm my sweetheart on a first date, yet if she asked me to decide, I would suggest some place near people; a setting where I could clearly dispell any fear or discomforts that might be present, a place where I could gaze on her face and into her eyes till any embarrassment or anxiety were transformed into laughter, humor and trust. Such a place might be the annual pork barbecue at Cook City Montana. Spit roasted whole pigs that cook all night and bring about a frenzie between bears and the dogs...hopeful to get the best trimmings. I would stay up all night in wait for the feast on the morrow if she wanted to...reading her eyes (et al) by firelight. It would start with many people, but as the early morning hours passed we would have much time to ourselves near the fires, napping only occasionally on a blanket or in the cabins.
Actually that would be the second date. The first one would be driving there. (No Airport) Now...see? That's why I suggest she choose a first date.
