Ridiculously athletic / Fitness Junkie (I run rings around the teens in my karate class)
Multi-talented (art, dance, music, sports, writing, science - all are within my grasp)

Easy-going / simplistic attitude
I love my parents and am grateful for everything they gave me (even the disciplinary action)
Pride myself on self-reliance
Sounds good so far, right? Well here's where I may lose some of you, but hopefully attract one of you that resonates with some of this...
Principles I live by:
* Balance in all things. If more people could find their personal balance, I think the world would be better off (though probably duller to some of you).
* Friends are a blessing because they choose to be with you; treat them well and support them, always. I consider my closest friends as siblings.
* I am my own greatest rival: I constantly strive to improve myself compared to what I was before.
* Live within your means: I can't understand people that define themselves by their possessions, especially if they can't actually afford them... Hello Global Debt Crisis.
* I have little respect for those that can only comment on sports/hobbies but can't actually play/do any of them. I'd rather be the guy on the field being commented on, and hence I am.
* I only expect to get out of life what I have to offer in return, and I think people should be so-paired accordingly.
* Some say Love is unconditional, but that is rife with contradiction given the tricky circumstances it usually takes most people to fall in love in the first place: timing, attraction, compatibility, goals... Your personality moves me and makes me cherish our time together. Your looks secure my attention and fidelity. Your conduct earns my trust and respect. A lapse in any of these three aspects will eventually weaken my long-term faith in you (and I'd expect no different if the tables were reversed).

First Date
I subscribe to the "Meet earlier rather than later" camp because it helps settle the chemistry issue and save us both time. I love sporting activities but only impose them upon the willing, so more low-key 1st outings are still on the menu.
