About Me
I am very fortunate and blessed in my life and try never to forget that. Many people have sacrificed things for me in life and what I do with my life is largely a tribute to them. I'd like to think that I'm pretty well rounded and am a balanced individual. I work for Toronto EMS. It is very rewarding and challenging. I graduated University in 2002 and completed my Masters last year. I usually spend my spare time reading, with friends, exercising or just kicking back and relaxing. I have a passion for the renovation industry and have been known to buy tools so I can help friends with their projects. I'm not a bar regular. My idea of a great time is simply spending it with people I care about, no matter what the activity is. I`ve jumped out on planes & helicopters, rappelled from a 28 story building, jumped into class 4 whitewater rapids to help someone, survived the wilderness for 30 days with nothing except my buck knife, been tasered 3 times (as part of training, not as a criminal), and have trained with some of the best soldiers in the world. I like the periodic adrenaline rushes(probably obvious). I have a fairly large collection of movies and books. I've got about a year left to decide whether I'm going to try and compete for a spot on the Canadian Amateur Olympic Wrestling team. That will likely depend on where my career and life is, a lot of cool things are happening now. I'm a certified personal trainer as well as a strength and conditioning specialist. I’m not looking to fill a void or find somebody to complete me. I’m just looking to find that special somebody who makes life even more enjoyable.
The most important value to me is loyalty and trust. I’ve been through a lot in life and think that makes me obligated to give that much more back. I don't get jealous and am pretty secure in who I am. I'm pretty much an open book and hopefully I can find the same type of person. When I'm at work I'm intense and goal oriented, at home I'm laid back and easy going.
I’d like to meet a woman who knows how valuable and special she is and will not settle for anything but the best for herself. Physical attraction is important but not nearly as much as what is in a somebody’s heart. I find women who are successful in life (not talking financially) very attractive. I see success as having a job you enjoy, being happy with your life, and wanting to share that joy with another person. I am a sucker for a big smile. I'm genuinely looking for that special somebody. Those who have the attitude, "I say what's on my mind because that's the way I am, and don't care who I offend or hurt in the process".... we will never get along. I'm not like that and don't think that's an admirable quality. A woman who is thoughtful and caring about other people and their feelings is the kind of woman I want to be around. I can't say that I have an "ideal" person. Somebody who is fun to be with. The type of person that I can talk for hours on end with, and never get bored. Hopefully we can have a few common interests.

First Date
Something casual that doesn't feel like a date is always good. I'm up for anything from mini-putting, the Zoo, or just having a drink at Jack Astors. Of course those are only my ideas, I'm always up for something new.
