Hello and thanks for taking a moment to read my profile.
I have used this site before, and i have met many interesting ladies but i have yet to find the one that i really "click" or connect with (for the lack of a better term).
I would like to avoid serial dating, after all its not about quantity is quality of meetings that make the effort worthwhile.
Eventually I'd like to get married, have/start a family (or add too one), grow old and see the kids have grand kids. But, alas i won't get ahead of myself, we still have to meet first and not let the pressures of what we'd like to have happen rule the moment.
People that know me well would say that I'm sarcastic (in a funny, off the cuff sort of way), generous, honest and loyal. In a nutshell, i have a pretty serious job that involves a lot of conflict, as a result offset this as much as possible by being pretty laid back and easy going most of the time outside of work. Life is too short to be serious all the time.
Like most people, I'm a busy person however will make time and effort for the right lady. I won't settle for just anyone, nor would i expect the same from my partner. That being said, we're human and this isn't a soap opera where the problems of the world can be solved in 40 or some odd minutes (depending on the number of commercials during that 1 hour show).
I'm getting over an Achilles injury (from soccer) that has taken much longer than anticipated to be pain free, but i am looking forward to the upcoming summer of slow pitch, ice hockey and maybe soccer (still undecided on that one). Due to the long injury and less than normal activity, I am a few pounds heavier than i would like to be at the moment. With luck (staying injury free), I'll be back to cycling soon and i can get closer to my goal weight. I'll be honest, i will never be the gent at the beach with 6 pack abs and ripped muscles (I've always been on the stocky side).
Most of my good friends have moved out of the city, so meeting new people and expanding my dwindling social circle would also be a welcome bonus.

I'd much rather look back with fond memories and few regrets life is too short to be regretful.
