Nothing is fool-proof to a sufficiently talented fool. (I collect quotes)
I'm not a fan of many things, but two things for sure are Babylon 5, and Harry Potter. I like being weird, and thank people for trying to tell me exactly how weird I am. I have 2 cats, a dog, and 3 small kritters (or depending on how you look at it, they have me.)
The biggest hobby I have is learning. Falling under that category is reading, journaling, painting, drawing, collecting, crafting, exploring energy work, and dissecting movies (their plot, cinematography, acting, overall quality).
I have never owned a car, nor had a drivers license, nor have I been drunk/stoned. I own my home (well, I'm paying the bank).
The difference between a moral man and a man of honor is that the latter regrets a discreditable act, even when it has worked and he has not been caught. -- H. L. Mencken, 'Prejudices: Fourth Series,' 1924
I like the poem Desiderata.
Books: Elizabeth Moon's Speed of Dark, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Darkover Series, Ender's Game, Dark Elf Trilogy, and I compulsively use the dictionary.
Movies: (I have over 400 DVDs) Dream with the Fishes, Monty Python's Holy Grail, (obligatory) LOTR Extended, Pride and Prejudice, Vampire Hunter D - BloodLust, Grave of the Fireflies, Billy Elliot, Chasing Amy, Dead Poets Society, Frida, Pump up the Volume, Spirited Away, Whale Rider.
Music: My iPod has almost all my music on it now. Some of the stuff on it: Massive Attack, DMB, Jewel, Yo Yo Ma, Sheryl Crow, Super Tramp, NIN, Beethoven, Cake, Keb Mo, The Great Satchmo, Ben Webster, Eagles, Loreena McKennitt. I also have the Harry Potter audio books on my iPod, so it isn't even always music. I don't like country, rap, soul-less jazz, metal (or harder).
Foods: If I had to pick one genre of food to live on for the rest of my life - it would be breakfast food. I really enjoy trying new foods, and I prefer sit down restaurants over fast food any day (except In & Out).
