A little about me:
Having just turned the ripe young age of 66 I have realized that life is passing by far too quickly!! Where has it all gone?? My "To Do" list still has so many items on it left to be "ticked"!! I am still a work in progress and hopefully that will continue for the rest of my life!
I love life..want to embrace all of it that I can. A day without laughing..usually at myself seems uneventful. I love exploring and communicating; emphasis on the latter. I am NOT athletic nor will I ever be, so please no jocks need apply. This does NOT mean that I sit on the couch all day..LOL love walking and doing things outdoors. Love animals, the woods, the ocean - they feed my soul.
Also love the city with its museums and theatres. I am pretty adaptable from jeans to dress up. Marshmellows on the open fire or a 5 star gourmet meal.
I have come to realize happiness is a state of mind...thank God I still have part of my mind left!! LOL
YOUNG AT HEART..OTHER PARTS ARE A LITTLE OLDER!!!!!! Perhaps a little smarter...a little wiser... hopefully so...there is still so much to learn about life and me. I am looking for someone in my life.. that has always been my intent BUT that someone has to be the right someone..hopefully he and I will know it. I am alone..but not lonely...would be nice to sit and watch the stars with someone. I cannot say what I want as every day we change as we grow but I do believe I know what I don't want. Think that thing called "chemistry" tells us when we are on the right path.
I'd just like to add...
Be content within yourself...contentment is the result of personal effort.
And remember:-Live simply! Love generously! Care deeply! Speak kindly!
