Date "A": agreed to go out for a dinner date (second date) on a Friday night. I would have picked Date "A" up around 845. Date "A" had friend over to do her hair late afternoon. Date "A' then messaged me around 615 to say that she's down with her roommate's strep throat, so bad that she can't even swallow yoghurt. Fine, date scrubbed. Then the next day she posts on Facebook that she's out partying with friends. On the following day, she posts that she's out having dinner with her girlfriends. If your hairstylist had screwed up your hairdo, than just say so! Why lie?
Date "B": agreed a week in advance to go skating down at City Hall for our second date on a Sunday. We agreed to touch base Sunday morning at 11 to reconfirm. I was out till 4AM the night before, and I got up to call her at 11. We spoke and she said that she had partied till 6AM, but she was OK for 2PM. Just before I left the house at 130, Date "B" messaged "I'm still in bed, I fell back asleep... hope you didn't leave yet". Argh! So I asked her for a new meeting time, and she doesn't get back to me for the rest of the afternoon. I didn't hear from her until 749 that evening, and by then, my afternoon had been ruined. Time wasted. I've got more examples with other dates...
A promise made is a promise kept! I won't waste your time, so don't waste mine!
