I just moved to Philly this Summer. I'd like to make some new friends and if something clicks, well, something clicks. My friends are all really awesome, so hey, maybe if I'm not your flavor one of them will be. I always think it's more fun to hang out with a group of people for a first date than to do the one on one thing. It's just so much more laid back.
I like walking around in the city and going to new bars/places to eat. Though I've also been getting into making food at home recently. I just made a pretty killer almost fat-free 7 layer dip (oh baby). I also like hanging out at my apartment with my friends and/or having parties. I don't like working, but I do it a lot.
I am involved with some other fun activities that are shaping up to be a full-time profession, but I'll save talking about that for when we hang out.
I'm not a religious person but I heard a great quote in this movie BELLA recently: "If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans."
Another quote I read recently that I really enjoyed was from this book A WHACK TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD. This is from memory so it may be a little off: "Going to a junkyard is a sobering experience. There you can see the ultimate destination of almost everything we desire." - Roger von Oech
It's such a sad statement, and to me I feel like this can be related to people/relationships as well. It would be nice to meet someone who doesn't wind up in the junk yard.
