About Me
Since I find myself in the unenviable position of being the only singly amongst my group of friends, as the inconsiderate **stards are all either married or in long term relationships, I figured its about time I addressed the ongoing disaster that is my love life so here I am.
I did ask my friends for advice about what I should put in this box, but since I dont want to be barred before Ive even started I thought it best to do it myself. If you want something done and all that...
As you may have already gathered, I dont take things or myself too seriously but can when the need arises. Im very much a 'what you see is what you get' kind of guy- I say things as I see them and if you ask my opinion youll get an honest answer whether you like it or not, so beware asking the immortal question 'does my bum look big in this' (although if youre asking you probably already know!)
Im not really into clubbing anymore- I much prefer a chilled out pub putting the world to rights over a decent lager or two. On the subject of music, its fair to say I have a fairly eclectic taste which ranges from classical harmonies to full on nosebleed techno and most things in between (but please not Reggae or RnB!). Bonus points will be given to those who know the track my headline was taken from. Oh and I DJ in my spare time, much to my neighbours dismay.
My main passions in life are sport (more watching than playing these days, though I go to the gym regularly) and cars- I am a petrolhead so eco warriors/tree huggers be warned!
I love to travel and explore new places, and my job certainly helps in that regard. Would love to go back to Aus- they have the right idea about living. New Zealand, South Africa and Thailand are next on the list. Am going skiing for the first (maybe last!) time this christmas, so any pointers are welcome.
All in all my life is pretty much complete- Ive a decent job which I enjoy, my own place, and a great circle of mates (despite their slanderous comments!). It would be great to have someone to share it with. Whether that person is on here or not remains to be seen- if not at least theres a chance to make some new friends as you can never have too many.
I could go on, but theres no point giving everything away, so if youre still reading, have all your own teeth, are down to earth, like a bit of banter, are comfortable in your own skin, arent clingy or needy and know where youre going in life feel free to get in touch! (Im not really that demanding- honest!).
