About Me
I am a work-aholic who wants to get back out and have fun with people... sometimes hard for me to let go and have fun. I am a very loyal friend, who would like someone who feels the same way. I am very strong willed, hard not to be when you've been on your own for a while...but I am willing to bend a bit, as long as others do the same... my interests are few, because of working all the time, but I would like to get out more and enjoy life. As for hobbies, just look at my profile, music is a mixture, but I can't really get into all these new "hard ass" songs... all sound the same, and the words can't be made out... guess I'm an 80's, country, old rock kind of girl!!! lol...
I've given up on head games.... I like to be honest, even if it hurts the other person, or myself... that takes some getting used to, but you'll know where you stand with me.
I do have some hang-ups, mostly about myself, (body image etc), but I do try to overcome them... it's a case of, if you like what you see, great, if not, oh well, I'll be fine...
My daughter is now 19, and I've been out of the loop for MANY years... not sure where to start looking again... thought I'd try here....
With my schedule, I'm not up to many late nights, especially weekends, but I do enjoy the occasional outting, (although it's been a LONG time... (g)), mostly people will find me at work, or at home with my cat!!!
My daughter will be moving on (into college) at the end of the summer, so I will be on my own for the first time in years!!! lol... looking to see what's going to happen next! lol

I would like to go out for coffee, or a quiet drink in a pub-style bar, or go for a walk around the river, watch the boats... Just kick back and relax... no awkward dinners where you don't know what to say. Just a place where we both can just be ourselves, to see if we can be friends, or more.
