I am an old fashioned -- But still FUN -- Grandmother. I have a wonderful daughter and 2 grandchildren that I adore. If you can respect family and my love of them, please feel free to keep reading. I am widowed (lost my husband of 35 years) in 2003. I would like to share thoughts on our lives and what we have learned, flea markets, thrift shopping, movies, dinner out at a nice quiet restaurant...the list goes on. I don't ask for much, as happiness is something you have within, and then share with another. I am basically happy, the grandchildren are a big part of my life and I have many wonderful friends I associate and gather with. I guess --- I am just kinda missing the fun of having a hand to hold, a movie shared together, those kinds of things.
I am easy going, laid back, and honest to a fault. I was raised in a time when your word was about all you had -- and I don't have time for games nor do I have time to lie. If you lie, you have to remember too much. (Giggles)
If you are still reading this, let me hear from you. The picture I posted on here is not a wonderful one, but with this new technology I haven't had the chance to get a digital photo made. I will get more pictures upon request. I look forward to hearing from you. If you are not honest, family oriented and compassionate -- please look elsewhere - at our age - it is time TO ENJOY life. Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
A quiet dinner and a movie would be nice, visiting a fair or flea market even better.
