About Me
I live to travel. I've been to 27 countries thus far and have no intentions of stopping. There is nothing better then picking up your bindle and heading out into parts unknown. Between the big trips I really enjoy just getting out for day trips, or weekenders around Alberta and into BC. I would really like to live abroad at some point in my life.
Besides travel I am something of a sports nut. Hockey is a big passion of mine, and I try to attend as many Oilers games as possible. I also like to get out and play shinny with the guys when I get the chance. In the summer I play on a slow pitch team and we spend many weekends out camping at the ballgrounds, and sitting around the fire pit at night with Captain Morgan keeping us company. :) I try to stay active at the gym as well, but have some trouble sticking with the program when it comes to solo exercise. I've tried out rock climbing a few times and am interested in getting into the sport. Scuba is always a blast as well, but the opportunities to take part in Alberta are pretty few and far between. I'm not a big fan of freezing my butt off so I leave Scuba for the holidays.
I'm also a food fanatic. I'm slowly working my way through every restaurant in the city. I really enjoy trying new foods, and have found some great ethnic places around town. Luckily there is a sushi place very near my house, because I need my sushi fix at least twice a month.
Essentially the only time I turn on the TV is to watch hockey or the occasional movie. If you want to know what happened on the last episode of MTV Cribs you are going to have to ask someone else. I do a fair amount of reading. Mostly fiction, with the occasional non fiction such as No Logo, Guns, Germs, and Steel, or Freakonomics for a change of pace. I try to read a lot of critically acclaimed, and award winners in the hopes that some of the writer's genius will rub off on me. No luck so far!
I'm not sure what makes me unique. I'm just a regular guy, laid back, and looking to enjoy life and am looking for a regular girl seeking the same.
Bonus points if you speak Spanish. I am trying to become fluent and I need someone to practice with.

First Date
An Oilers game, a walk down Whyte Ave, a trip to Fort Edmonton Park, dinner and a movie, bungee jumping, mini golf, bowling.
